I want to thank you for your commitment to the cause of helping animals in our area. There has been a positive change here in the past few months. Not only with animal control but a change of perspective in the community. It’s not just seen as enforcement but as educators, to teach human stewardship and the importance of spaying and neutering, and to educate people about animal related ordinances and state statues. Someone to call if you need help.
Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated the two officers who rescued a cat that had gotten up into the rafters of my garage…Thank you for the great professionalism and service they provided! I was very impressed with how much they cared about the cat’s welfare.
Both officers came to our home because of a complaint that was made about our German Shepherd, Moxie. Both gentleman were extremely courteous, professional, and nonjudgmental… Our contact with them was nothing but positive. Your two officers exemplify what it is to be a law enforcement professional.”
Lisa C. wanted to thank the officers for responding so quickly and making positive changes for the dog. She said the dog house is now repositioned and the dog has straw and bedding. She said Sussex County has never received services like this before and she’s very pleased with how receptive our agency is.
[Animal Welfare Officer] was so helpful to both of us when we had nowhere to turn for help. Animal Control is wonderful. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And the owner’s thank you too, they were so happy to get him back after spending a day and a night with me. I’m so glad I know Animal Control is on the job.
