I just wanted to let you know that I had an exceptionally positive interaction last night with one of your officers… I was shocked at how quickly your officer arrived, and she was very nice and professional. The officer assured my friend that the dog would be taken to a no-kill shelter. Please pass along my regards to your officer.

[Animal Welfare Officer] picked up a stray dog I found. She could not have been kinder. It broke my heart not to be able to keep him. She could see that and she was kind and patient. I know she was probably very busy and had more stops to make but she did make me feel like she was in a hurry.

The two officers who came to… quickly and painlessly caught a stray that had been roaming our neighborhood for months. I was very impressed by the quick response, friendly nature, and efficient resolution of [Animal Welfare Officers]. Everyone I dealt with from the agency from beginning to end, was very pleasant… many in our neighborhood are relieved and grateful for their excellent service.

[Animal Welfare Officer] is very supportive of helping people to take care of their pets, building relationships with them and advocating for them to do more for their pets if they are tied out or neglected. She works hard to connect them to shelter services. She has asked our shelter… for flea treatment and water proof toys for outside dogs which we gave her. She has gone out of her way to help a family in Southern DE with dogs tied out to get them fixed and to get fencing or kennels so they aren’t tied out she also was able to convince a woman to bring her black lab inside after multiple visits convincing her that the dog was unhappy tied out day and in out.
